Bradley Cooper always "commits" himself to tasks because of the respect he has for his late father.
The Hollywood actor's dad Charles Cooper died last year. Bradley will forever be motivated by his hard-working parent.
"I've always felt a sense of awe towards what my father has achieved in life. That's why I always commit myself as much as possible. And I'm happy that he lived enough to see that I have made it," he told the Italian edition of Vanity Fair.
"I began to love the cinema, because my father loved it. I've always felt an obligation to do my best for him, in order to repay him for what he has done for me and for our family."
Bradley's father wasn't convinced about his acting career when he first started out.
"At the beginning he wasn't thrilled. He belonged to the working class. I graduated with a debt of $70,000. He wanted me to find a job," he said.
Meanwhile, Bradley has been seen leaving the ArcLight Cinema in Hollywood with his on-off girlfriend Zoe Saldana.
