(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Brandon Flowers says his loyalty will always remain with The Killers although he doesnt know when his group will reform.
Brandon shot to fame as the charismatic frontman of the Las Vegas-based rock band, which also features Dave Keuning on guitar, Mark Stoermer on bass and Ronnie Vannucci Jr on drums.
Members of the group wanted to go on a break so Brandon decided to launch himself as a solo artist, and has had massive success across the globe with his debut album Flamingo.
But the singer insists he still cares more about his career with the band, revealing he is using the time on his own to make himself a better artist.
My loyalty is to The Killers. This is more about me being a singer and working on my performing and my songwriting. Its not about me being a solo artist, he told NME.
Despite his desire to get back together with his band mates, Brandon admits he isnt sure when the group will reform. They are currently trying to work out dates, but are yet to settle on one.
"The guys in The Killers that wanna take a break are kind of vague about how long this break is gonna be," he added, before explaining that a need to be on a stage also fuelled his ambitions for a solo career.
"I cant imagine not going onstage for two years and so, I delivered Flamingo," he revealed. (C) Cover Media
