(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears parents have rekindled their relationship eight years after their divorce.

Lynne and Jamie Spears went through a bitter split in 2002, but are now believed to be back together. It has been reported the reconciliation could even have taken place as early as last summer.

The pair were spotted being openly affectionate as they danced to some of their daughters biggest hits at Los Angeles club Boudoir on Saturday.

"They were in a great mood together. They were laughing together dancing and laughing and totally having fun, a source told People magazine. "They are back together and are doing well and happy. They're not remarried but back together."

Lynne and Jamie tied the knot in 1975 and have three children 33-year-old Bryan, 28-year-old Britney and Jamie Lynn, 19.

When her parents decided to split after almost 30 years of marriage, Britney said it was the best thing thats ever happened to my family. She revealed Lynne, 55, and Jamie, 58, often argued when she was growing up and claimed they were better off apart.

Jamie is still co-conservator of Britneys personal and professional affairs after she suffered a public meltdown in January 2008.

It has been claimed Jamie and Lynne have been growing closer in recent years and have now decided to give their relationship another shot.
