(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Britney Spears has released an alternative dance-led promo for new single, Till the World Ends.

The 29-year-old singer had previously announced that she would be releasing two versions of the video for the song, which is taken from her seventh studio album Femme Fatale.

The first video - which premiered earlier this month - focused on an apocalyptic plot which saw the songstress dancing in an underground club among the chaos of the world crumbling outside.

Britney unveiled the second directors cut edit of the video earlier today, which showcases the pop singers trademark dance moves.

The star tweeted about the alternative promo earlier this week on her personal Twitter account. Britney gushed to fans about the new dance-led video - directed by Ray Kay - and admitted that she wasnt sure which version she preferred.

"Just saw the final cut of the dance version of the #TTWE video. Not sure which one I like best (sic)?" wrote the star.

Till the World Ends currently sits at number eight on the US Billboard chart and has been doing well across the globe. (C) Cover Media
