January 24, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Bruno Mars has toppled all the musicians of the British chart to claim the number one position at both the single and the album chart. The R&B singer topped both the charts on Sunday 23 with the single Grenade and the album Doo-Wops & Hooligans. Brunos new album debuted and opened at the number one slot.
In spite of the roaring success of Adeles In the Deep charging to number two slot, Brunos Grenade is firm in its number one slot in the British single chart. The top five in the chart is rounded by Jessie Js Do It Like a Dude, who slips to number three. Coming Home by Diddy-Dirty Money by Sean P. Diddy Combs band is at number four. Finally in position five is Traktor by rapper Wretch 32.
The 25-year old American singer toppled Loud by Rihanna, and on the other hand Ritual by White Lies debuted at number three on the album chart in Britain. Rihanna and Eminem outnumbered everyone in 2010 British singles chart with their duet Love The Way You Lie, but now it is turn for another American, Bruno Mars to take over the British charts and he is ruling them both at the moment.
