22nd September 2012

Amanda Bynes has been formally indicted for driving on a suspended licence.

The troubled star was charged with two misdemeanour counts of hit-and-run last week, resulting in her driving privileges being temporarily revoked.

Amanda is also suspected of DUI and her car was impounded last weekend after authorities caught her driving without a licence outside Burbank Airport.

TMZ reports that the actress was charged Friday with two counts of driving with a suspended licence. The maximum sentence for each offence is six months in jail.

Despite telling reporters this week she's doing "amazing", Amanda has reportedly been dropped by her agent, publicist and entertainment lawyer after her erratic behaviour became too much to handle.

Amanda is now facing a total of five charges two counts of misdemeanour hit-and-run, driving under the influence and two counts of driving with a suspended licence.

If convicted she can face over two years imprisonment.
