Calvin Harris wants Cole duet

19th June 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Calvin Harris would "love" to collaborate with Cheryl Cole.

The DJ-and-producer has worked with some of the biggest names in the music business including Kylie Minogue and Katy Perry, and has revealed British songstress Cheryl, 27, is next on his collaboration wish list.

Calvin's confession comes shortly after Cheryl's sensational axe from the US version of X Factor. The brunette beauty was replaced on the judging panel by Nicole Scherzinger after reports that she lacked chemistry with the other judges including Paula Abdul. It was also claimed her regional British accent was difficult to understand for American audiences.

Despite music mogul and friend Simon Cowell admitting that Cheryl wasn't the right fit for the highly-anticipated TV show, the stunning star has caught the eye of Calvin.

"I'd love to work with somebody like Cheryl Cole, she would be ace," he told British newspaper The Mirror. Also on my list to work with is Ellie Goulding. She's a great talent. Tinie Tempah would be brilliant too."

Despite his edgy records, Calvin insists he likes "cheesy" tunes. The 27-year-old Scottish star has revealed his top tracks in the charts.

"I like my cheese when it comes to pop music. I love the new Nicole Roberts track, LMFAO, Chris Brown's new single with Benny Benassi and Katy B." (C) Cover Media
