Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler's engagement is reportedly back on.

The pair's three-month engagement was abruptly called off in July. Kristin, 24, was "absolutely devastated" that she was not going to have her dream wedding at the time, but the former couple are now said to be revisiting their plans.

It has been revealed that Chicago Bears quarterback Jay, 28, has proposed for the second time after the pair quietly rekindled their relationship in September.

"Kristin is over the moon with happiness," a source tells Life & Style magazine.

"She's already told her friends that the engagement is back on. They haven't set a new date yet."

Jay first asked for the TV star's hand in marriage in April after a whirlwind 10-month romance.

Kristin and Jay reignited their romance when she began competing on hit TV show Dancing with the Stars in September.

The engagement news comes just days after Kristin denied having a fling with TV star Kourtney Kardashian's on-off beau Scott Disick.

Kristin and Scott were said to have "hooked up" in 2009.

However, Kristin insisted the speculation was "100 percent not true".
