The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) just got bigger, it can be said. After a successful run in 2011, the 2012 edition is set to begin. 

The inaugural match of the second season is set to be played in Sharjah on 13th January and as always there is a lot of hype surrounding the event that has two additional teams and bigger stars.

The Chennai Rhinos, owned by Gangaprasad of GVR Group, has  Sharath Kumar as the advisor and the team comprises stars like Arya, Jiiva, Bharath, Srikanth, Shaam and others.

The team, led by Vishal, will play their first match against the Mumbai Heroes on 14th January at the Sharjah International Stadium. 

Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul are the brand ambassadors of Chennai Rhinos and the team will be hoping for Lady Luck to smile on them. A Tollywood team is also there, led by Venkatesh, comprising actors like Tarun.
