Chace Crawford is "over the moon" about becoming an uncle.

The Gossip Girl star's sister Candice and her husband Tony Romo will welcome a baby boy next spring.

Chace is elated about spending time with his future nephew.

"I'm over the moon!" Chace gushed to People magazine.

"I'm going to be the best kind of uncle - the kind that gets to take him to baseball games and feed him cotton candy."

Although Chace is more than willing to engage in pleasurable activities, the actor admits that he is not at all interested in doing the dirty work.

"When he has to get changed, I'll take him to Candice. And then I'll be back when it's time for video games and spoiling him," he laughed.

He is happy with the prospect of bonding not only with his future nephew, but also with his brother-in-law.

"Tony and I are very close. He's the best of the best," Chace said.

Candice and her husband Tony are in a loving relationship, but Chace is not interested in settling down just yet.

"I'm not in a relationship right now. I like to hang out. I like to go on dates," he explained.

Chace Crawford's newest film romantic comedy What to Expect When You're Expecting will be released in US cinemas in May 2012.
