We recently saw the recreated peppy and jazzy version of 'Ruk Ruk' for Kajol's upcoming movie 'Helicopter Eela'. Now following the same Prakash Jha is all set to recreate famous number 'Chamma Chamma' from 'China Gate' for his next production titled 'Fraud Saiyyan'.
Producer of 'China Gate' filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi who owns the rights for the original song recently had a meeting with Prakash, sharing about the deets of the meeting he said, "Prakash ji recently showed us all the songs from his film and there was a situation where a dance number was required. He selected 'Chamma Chamma.' We have roped in (composer) Tanishk Bagchi to recreate the song for him. Tanishk is known to work his magic on retro tracks. We should have the new version ready by the weekend."
When being questioned on as to who will step in Urmila Matondkar's shoes for this blockbuster he further added, "We are speaking to known actresses and should finalise one shortly. The song will be shot in the next 10-12 days." The original track featured Urmila grooving to some sizzling hot steps and wooing the Indian Army team with it. Meanwhile, where composer Tanishk Bagchi is roped for the same, the original track was composed by Anu Malik and sung by Sapna Awasthi Singh.
