(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Charlie Sheen's new television show is reportedly a small screen adaptation of Anger Management.
The actor, who was fired from his role on hit television show Two and a Half Men earlier this year, will play the character popularised by Jack Nicholson in the 2003 movie, according to TMZ.
Sources close to the project told the website that producer Joe Roth, who produced and owns the screenplay of Anger Management, is directly involved with the project.
Charlie's character will not be exactly the same as Jack's but will be an ex-professional athlete "who gets his master's degree in social work during the off season".
He will apparently counsel defendants with temper issues going through legal troubles but Charlie's character will have some anger management problems of his own.
Charlie and Joe have worked together several times before including on Major League, Young Guns and The Three Musketeers. (C) Cover Media
