October 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Hollywood actresses Charlize Theron and Keira Knightley will compete against each other on the big screen this year as both actresses get ready to portray Lady Diana in a film based on the life of the Princess of Wales. However producers of both films are not prepared to look at their respective films as a threat to the other. They are of the opinion that even though both films are based on the life story of Princess Diana, the storyline of both films are completely different.

Media reports claim that the Charlize Theron starrer is based on the relationship shared by Lady Diana with her bodyguard Ken Wharfe, and while the Keira Knightley starrer also deals with the relationship shared by Diana with her aid Ken Wharfe, the film will delve into greater details and also speak about the other issues in the Princess life.

Stephen Evans, the producer of Charlize Therons project said in a statement to the media that he will make a very authentic film, almost on the lines of a documentary, and will also use the voices of all possible people who were attached to the Princess of Wales at any point of time. Producers of the Keira Knightley film on the other hand are not much troubled and say that they can outdo the Charlize Theron starrer , considering that they not only have Keira Knightley but also Dame Helen Mirren as part of the star cast of the upcoming Lady Diana film.
