After making it big in Tollywood and Kollywood, it is now the turn of Charmy to make her presence felt in Mollywood. The actress has signed a new Malayalam project, and its hero is none other than Mammootty.

'The movie titled Tappanna has offered a very meaty role to Charmy. She is so happy about sharing the screen space with Mammookka,' sources in Malayalam film industry say.

'In fact, the whole story revolves around Charmy's character. It is about a woman, who comes from the prison after seven years to meet her husband. She is sent to jail for a crime which was not committed by her,' sources add.

Charmy started her career in Kollywood with Kadhal Azhivadhillai, which marked the acting debut of Simbu aka STR. She later made it big in Tollywood and became one of the leading heroines of the industry.
