(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Cher cried while watching son Chaz Bono perform on Dancing with the Stars last night.
The music icon was in the audience of the popular ABC show to watch Chaz dance the Paso Doble with professional partner Lacey Schwimmer.
Cher was seen with tears rolling down her face as she applauded the pair's performance, which came to the Rocky theme tune.
The star took to her Twitter page to express how proud she was of her son.
"OMG! I was crying! Wasn't expecting 2 b so nervous! Broke my bracelet clapping! I'm so proud! Chaz was great! Loved David Arquette 2nd (sic)," she wrote on her personal Twitter page.
Despite prior reservations from Lacey that Cher would put Chaz off, he managed to score his highest mark of the season with a respectable 21 out of 30. However, it was TV host Ricki Lake who really impressed last night.
Ricki and professional partner Derek Hough scored a stunning 29 out of 30, which was the highest of anyone so far this season.
The pair are the only season 13 contestants to be awarded two perfect ten scores from the judging panel.
Despite her show-stopping performance, Ricki regretted muttering something during rehearsal that was included on the actual programme.
While practicing the Paso Doble to the Psycho theme, she got so frustrated that she threatened to walk away from the TV show.
"I want to quit, like I totally want to quit," she said.
However, after her impressive performance on the show Ricki regretted the threat.
"I feel like an idiot for saying I would quit," she said. "But that did happen. I really did feel that way at that time."
Chynna Phillips and Nancy Grace were in joint eighth place with Chaz, as they were also awarded 21 points.
Carson Kressley ended up in last place after his Viennese waltz to the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack was given a 20.
J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff performed a fox trot, which earned them a score of 26 and landed them in second place.
David Arquette and Kym Johnson scored a 23 for their Paso Doble to the Indiana Jones theme song, while Hope Solo and Robert Kardashian ended up in joint third place with scores of 24. (C) Cover Media
