The emerging Hollywood star, who has already featured in movies (500) Days of Summer and Kick-Ass despite being just 13, said it was cool to receive praise from the acting veteran.

The 46-year-old sex symbol told Chlo he enjoyed her performance as a superhero Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass, directed by Matthew Vaughn. She was amazed, and was quick to ask whether his partner Angelina Jolie had also liked it.

Brad Pitt at the afterparty, he was like, I really like the role of Hit-Girl. And I was like, What'd Angie think? Chlo told MTV News when asked if fellow actors had told her they admired her work. No, it was amazing. It was really cool to see someone who is so big and is such a phenomenal actor to recognise my work.

The blond-haired teenager has been rated as of one MTVs people to be most thankful for in 2010, but the star herself is most grateful to her family.

She admitted that without her mother and brother she would not be carving out the career and enjoying the success she is currently thriving on.
