Chris Brown has hit back at critics for slamming his Grammy return.
The singer has avoided the prestigious music event since he was arrested and charged with felony battery on ex-girlfriend Rihanna three years ago.
The assault happened the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards, and sent shockwaves through the music world.
Chris was honoured at this year's ceremony, and performed twice. His presence angered many, including country singer Miranda Lambert who tweeted: "I don't get it. He beat on a girl," she said, before adding, "Not cool that we act like that didn't happen (sic)."
Chris Brown has hit back at claims he didn't deserve his Best R&B Album gong for F.A.M.E..
"HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F**K OFF! (sic)" a tweet read on his personal Twitter page.
Earlier he wrote: "Strange how we pick and choose who to hate! Let me ask u this. Our society is full of rappers (which I listen to) who have sold drugs (poisoning). But yet we glorify them and imitate everything they do," before adding, "Then right before the worlds eyes a man shows how he can make a Big mistake and learn from it, but still has to deal with day to day hatred! You guys love to hate!!! But guess what???"
The Tweets have since been removed from his personal page.
According to US website Radar Online, the posts were written on his behalf by an assistant, and when Chris read them he asked for them to be taken down.
Rihanna also took to the stage at this year's Grammys and seemed unfazed by Chris being there too.
