(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ciara is "happy" to be supporting Kim Kardashian by attending her wedding.

The 25-year-old singer will be a guest at good friend Kim's wedding on August 20, an exclusive ceremony with limited and coveted invitations. Ciara is elated to have the opportunity to extend her love and support on this special day.

"Yes, I am going [to Kim's wedding]!" Ciara told OK! at NYC's Beekman Beach Club Thursday. "I'm just happy to be able to support her in this moment and to see her do it. It's going to be really fun."

General wedding revelry is not Ciara's only inspiration for going. She wants to participate in a pivotal life transition that can change her friend's life for the better.

"This is really a beautiful time and especially when you know the journey of your friends. This is one of the biggest moments of our lives as women," said Ciara. "She found someone that makes her really happy and that's what's really important."

In terms of her own matrimony, Ciara, 25, is in no rush. She has faith that marriage will occur for her when it is meant to.

"I come from a background of marriage. That's something that's very traditional within my family," Ciara told TheBoomBox. "I believe that it'll happen at the perfect time. You can't put a time marker on anything like that and you can't say exactly when you want to do it; it just kinda falls in place. I'm not rushing the idea of it."
