(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Courteney Cox Arquette has been re-evaluating her feelings for estranged husband David Arquette after he was involved in a car crash, it has been reported.

The 46-year-old actress announced she was having a trial separation from David in October last year after 11 years of marriage. David gave a string of bizarre interviews about the split and began partying hard before completing a stint in rehab for alcohol and depression issues.

The actor, 39, was involved in a head-on collision earlier this month after driving on the wrong side of the road in Los Angeles, but escaped with minor injuries.

It has been reported that Courteney was left so shaken by the accident that she is considering a reconciliation between herself and David.

When she got word that David had been in a head-on collision, she said it felt like someone had punched her in the stomach, a source told Closer magazine. She was terrified the worst had happened.

Friends of the brunette beauty have revealed she called David immediately after hearing about the crash from a mutual friend. The actress was said to be emotional throughout the phone call, and was surprised at her own reaction.

Courteney called David immediately and sounded very emotional, the source said. Then she told him off for not wearing his seat belt! He laughed and said, Its nice to have you lecturing me again. Ive missed that. Ive missed you.

The actress is also believed to be keen to save the marriage for the sake of the couples six-year-old daughter Coco. Courteney wants her child to spend quality time with David and she hopes they can work their problems out.

Courteney and David got married in June 1999, and since the split 39-year-old David has spoken out several times about how much he loves Courteney and his hopes for rekindling their relationship. (C) Cover Media
