December 9, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Portia de Rossi is happy to be the wife of Ellen DeGeneres but she seems to be not really comfortable having a girl partner on the dance floor. The buzz is that the 'Arrested Development' actress was offered the opportunity to show off her dancing skills in the next season of 'Dancing with the Stars' in a same-sex partnership but the lady has turned it down.

According to The Hollywood Gossip Ryan Seacrest has asked Portia about the buzz in his radio show and the actress neither confirmed the possibility of her appearing on the dance show nor did she negated the option, instead she said that shes a trained ballet dancer. But sources are of the opinion that if Portia refuses to be part of the same-sex partnership in the show the producers wont go ahead with it in the next season with any other gay participants.

In all likelihood the next season of 'Dancing with the Stars' will try its best to stay clear from any other controversy and the furor that it faced this season because of Bristol Palin. Though the country high on debate about the Dont Ask Dont Tell the reality dance show with celebs will not push its envelop in the next season so it is quite possible as Popeater states that the casting director has said that the show might just have the most boring stars this coming season.
