Daniel Radcliffe admires calm' Grint

31st January 2012

Daniel Radcliffe is glad the film industry embraces his "hyperactivity" as he'd just be a "f**king nuisance" otherwise.

The British actor has revealed that he can't compete with Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint. Since rising to fame as red-headed wizard Ron Weasley, the actor has been sporting a more muscular physique.

Daniel is envious of his good genes.

"I'm not going to try to compete with Rupert on the arms front. His dad is a big guy, so if anyone was going to get the proper muscleman build, it was Rupert," he told British magazine Heat.

"You'd have to search pretty hard to find a more handsome ginger. He's also a dude. I wish I could be that calm. I'm lucky to have found an industry where this level of hyperactivity is encouraged. Otherwise I'd just be a f**king nuisance!"

Daniel also spoke about nudity in his films.

The actor famously stripped off for his role in a theatre production of Equus.

Daniel is now set for more naked scenes in his upcoming film Kill Your Darlings.

Daniel doesn't mind flashing the flesh, as he's confident about his naked form.

"I'm comfortable with my body. It's funny, actually, I've just been having a discussion with the guy who's directing my new project. It might have a bit of nudity and he said: 'Just to let you know, if you're getting naked, no landscaping of any kind. This is the 1940s and you're playing a Jew,'" he told British magazine Heat.

"I was like, 'Pretty much there anyway, mate! Not a huge amount of maintenance going on.' I mean, there's a little bit, obviously, for courtesy."
