Daniel Radcliffe: Pattinson should send me flowers

17th November 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Daniel Radcliffe is hoping Robert Pattinson will send him flowers after he watches The Simpsons episode he lent his voice to.

Daniel has taken a good-humoured swipe at Robert by voicing a vampire character called Edmund for the popular animated television show. In the episode, Edmund rescues Lisa Simpson from an out-of-control school bus, poking fun at the Twilight movie.

Daniel is sure the hunk will find the storyline amusing and wont be offended by the references to the vampire movie franchise, in which Robert plays brooding bloodsucker Edward Cullen.

In fact, Daniel is expecting his fellow British star to be so impressed by the episode he will want to shower him with gifts.

"I find it all so cool and funny and flattering. I'm sure Rob's got a sense of humour about it, he told MTV News. "I'm sure I'll be getting a bouquet of flowers."

Daniel and Robert first became friends when they appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and have remained close ever since. They are now two of the biggest stars in Hollywood due to their involvement in their respective franchises. Daniel, 21, says he finds it hard to come to terms with how famous he is, so he tracks Roberts career to get some perspective on his celebrity status.

"You cannot be in a film as big as either Potter or Twilight and not have a pretty good sense of humour about yourself," Daniel explained. I have no concept of what Potter looks like to the rest of the world, because I'm so involved in it. So to watch Twilight kind of explode globally had been fascinating." (C) Cover Media
