(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Danny McBride says Natalie Portman won her Oscar because of him.

The American actor-and-screenwriter can currently be seen alongside Natalie and James Franco in fantasy comedy film Your Highness.

The movie tells the story of Prince Fabious, played by James, and his lazy brother Thadeous, played by Danny, on a quest to rescue Fabious kidnapped bride. The pair are joined on their mission by Isabel, who is portrayed by Natalie.

Danny, 34, has joked that the comedy was the reason behind Natalies highly acclaimed performance in dark thriller Black Swan, for which she won the coveted best actress award at the Oscars this year.

This is the movie she did right before Black Swan. I dont want to take credit for her Academy Award win, but this was her warm up, he told BBC Breakfast.

The Hollywood star who wrote the script for the film says Natalie was a pleasure to work with on set. Despite her professionalism, the stunning actress was joking along with the rest of the cast at all times.
