Bollywood's sizzling diva Deepika Padukone is considered to be one of the most bold actresses of our times. But the independent and head strong star was recently left teary eyed when she was slated to perform an emotional scene for her film 'Ram Leela'.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the filmmaker offered Deepika an emotional scene which in his words was a difficult one. While rehearsing for the same, Deepika apparently broke down in tears as the complexity of the scene became way too much for her to handle.

According to the buzz, she later gave up and confided to Sanjay that she wouldn't be able to do the scene. But Sanjay being a task master didn't let his lead actress give up so easily. He had a chat with her for a considerably long time, post which she was ready to give it another try. And after a few rehearsals, she performed the scene to perfection.

Everyone present on the sets broke into an applause after Deepika enacted the whole scene.
