There were reports in a section of the media that Deepika Padukone would be shown in a darker tan to match with the complexion of Superstar Rajinikanth in the mega budget film "Kochadaiyaan", which is set to hit the floors soon.
However, a source which is very close to the project has denied this. 'There are no such plans. Deepika will appear in her usual colour and with make-up. She will be not shown in a darker shade.'
To be directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, the period film will be made on 3D. It will be shot using performance capturing technology, for the first time in Indian film industry. Story, screenplay and dialogues are by K S Ravikumar.
Besides Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone, others in the cast are Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Nasser, Aadhi and Rukmini. Music is by A R Rahman. The shooting is expected to take off soon.
