The success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's last film 'Ram-Leela' made Deepika Padukone the top notch actress of the Hindi Film industry. And with her next association with him, she plans to raise the bar further.

The actress, who plays the lady love to Ranveer Singh in the period drama 'Bajirao Mastani', will undergo strenuous training session. She will be learning sword-fighting and horse-riding for the film.

The film is set in the 18th century and all the actors of the cast are getting trained to play the role. While Ranveer, who plays a Maratha general in the film, trained himself and started shooting, Deepika who essays the role of his lover, Mastani will soon start the training. "I will have to train a lot for this role. The role demands a lot of preparation. It will be similar to what Ranveer underwent," she confirms.

She confessed that this film is going to be a very different from what she has done so far in her career.

"As I have never done a role that requires any of this, it will be hard. I will have to learn from scratch. Horse-riding should be more fun than sword-fighting, but it will also be stressful as I know that the training would have to be done simultaneously with the shooting of the film. I will shoot probably 12-15 hours a day, and the preparation will be done alongside that," she added.
