(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dennis Quaid's wife has reportedly decided not to follow through with divorce proceedings.
TMZ reports that Kimberly Buffington-Quaid has withdrawn her legal documents from court. The judge has agreed to dismiss the case and the marriage is still valid.
Kimberly initially began annulment proceedings in March citing irreconcilable differences. She allegedly asked for spousal support and money to cover attorney's fees.
The pair's split seemed to be nasty a few months ago.
A temporary court order gave Kimberly "possession of their main residence and the Mercedes, while Dennis [got] the Cadillac Escalade and a condo."
Kimberly asked that their community assets be "fairly divided", but Dennis requested a court rule that she received nil.
The pair were also ordered not to say anything "vulgar, profane, obscene or indecent" to each other.
Dennis and Kimberly tied the knot in 2004. They had a testing time when their twins were born and almost died when the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center accidentally gave them a massive overdose of the drug Heparin.
This is the Hollywood star's third marriage. He divorced Meg Ryan in 2001 after his marriage to actress P.J. Soles ended in 1983.
