Aishwarya Dhanush, elder daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth and wife of talented actor Dhanush, is a director now. She has commenced the shoot for her maiden directorial venture staring her husband in the lead role.

It is a romantic comedy and the muhurat was held in Chennai on Thursday, which was the birthday of Dhanush. Drectors Kasthooriraja and Selvaraghavan, Dhanush's father and brother respectively, attended the launch function.

Please note that Aishwarya had worked as Selvaraghavan's associate in 'Ayirathil Oruvan' before.

Meanwhile rumours are abuzz that Shruti Haasan has expressed her inability to be part of the project and that Aishwarya has approached 'Mynaa' girl Amala Paul.
