The Rajkumar Hirani film 'Sanju' has introduced another pivotal role from the film and this time it is Dia Mirza stepping in the shoes of Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata. Dia Mirza is marking her Bollywood return with this film and going by the poster Dia has shades over her head and with a stare sidewards she tries her best of replicating Manyata's character in reel-life.

Hirani shared this brand new poster introducing Dia Mirza via his official twitter handle and captioned it, "And here comes Dia Mirza as Maanayata, someone whose stood by #Sanju through thick and thin. #RanbirKapoor @deespeak #RajkumarHiraniFilms @foxstarhindi @VVCFilms." 

Talking about essaying this role on screen Dia said, "I was terrified to face the camera after two years, but Sanju has given me the confidence and I’m excited. I hope as an actor and as a producer, I keep on growing and evolving."

The film also features Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Anushka Sharma and Vicky Kaushal as well. The film is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt's as a star showcasing his love affairs, encounter with drugs, involvement in the 1993 Mumbai blasts and his imprisonment.

Bankrolled by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios, Sanju is slated to release on June 29.
