(Cover) - EN Star Style - Dita Von Teese hates low-rise pants.

The 38-year-old burlesque performer is famed for her retro aesthetic, and always appears in public with immaculate hair and make-up and sporting a variety of traditional 1940s-style outfits.

The raven-haired beauty, who regularly wears corsets and suspenders in her famous striptease shows, has revealed that she is not a fan of trousers that fall below her waist.

"I hate low-rise pants (sic)!" she exclaimed on her personal Twitter page.

Dita has credited her fashion choice to the late German movie star Marlene Dietrich. The beauty says she uses the actress-and-singer as inspiration for her style dos and don'ts.

"My motto: Never wear trousers Dietrich wouldn't wear (sic)," she added.

Earlier this week, Dita spoke of her hatred for designer jeans. The star took to her social networking page to disclose why she had a particular distaste for the denim attire.

"I couldn't afford designer jeans as a teen, therefore I have a deep-seeded resentment for them (sic)," she revealed. (C) Cover Media
