(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dita Von Teese thinks Christmas should only be spent in the snow.

The burlesque dancer loves the winter months, and especially looks forward to December 25. She enjoys spending the festive season with her family, but would never dream of going on a sunny retreat.

Im not really a take-a-holiday-at-Christmas girl. I like being home and having a home-cooked meal and being with my family, she said. I cannot imagine going on an island getaway or something for Christmas. If I was going to travel somewhere, Id want to be somewhere in the snow.

Dita has enjoyed almost every Christmas shes experienced, but 2008s was memorable for the wrong reasons. Her home was broken into, leaving her devastated as she was away at the time and had no way of clearing things up.

Not last year, but the year before I travelled at Christmas and my house got broken into after I left, she said. It was just one of the worst Christmases ever - being in the airport and knowing that my house was ravaged. It was fine in the end, just kind of traumatic. (C) Cover Media
