As Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his birthday yesterday, seems like he gifted a gift for himself and a return gift for his fans with this new song 'Channa Mereya' from 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.' Yes! Finally the much awaited song is out and it is really hard to miss. Karan Johar shared the link of the song on his twitter handle by tweeting, "And here's my favourite track from the album! #ChannaMereya #AeDilHaiMushkil http://saa.vn/channamereya."

The song starts with the line "Accha chalta hoon, duaon mein yaad rakhna" and we can see heart-throb Ranbir Kapoor dancing with Anushka Sharma. While we get a glimpse of the happy times spent by the duo, Suddenly we can see Ranbir dressed up in a sherwani crooning this particular song at Anushka's wedding making her big day even more special.

The song depicts Ranbir's feelings for Anushka and the wishes he make for her near future. Beautifully crooned by Arijit Singh, the song makes you cry. Ranbir again is successful in showcasing his powerful acting and his emotional expressions are hard to miss. The song is written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music is by Pritam. Now we know from where the dialogue at the end of the trailer come from. It can also be heard at the end of this song. As Ranbir is about to leave he says, "Ek tarfa pyar ki taqat hi kuch aur hoti hai … auron ke rishton ki tarah yeh do logon mein nahi bat’ti … sirf mera haq hai ispe."

Directed by Karan Johar the film will release on October 28, 2016.
