Drew Barrymore would have been a travel writer in another life.

The actress has been involved in Hollywood for many years, first appearing in movies when she was a child. If things had been different she would have concentrated on other creative pursuits, such as writing.

"I'd love to be a travel writer. I write and love photography and I got to shoot for VS magazine, I also [had] pictures in V magazine [recently] and a page in Vanity Fair. The three Vs," she laughed.

Drew is thrilled her hobbies are now getting noticed by others. She has been a keen photographer for over ten years and finds it exciting that she can share her work.

Hobbies are important to the star and she also has a soft spot for whipping up culinary delights in the kitchen.

"I'm cooking right now," she laughed to Look magazine. "I made a lobster diablo the other night!"
