October 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Preparations have begun for the Dubai Fashion Week and big names of the fashion world are all set to unveil their new collection of clothesline starting 24th this month. The five day fashion extravaganza will feature the Spring/Summer collections of designers Manish Malhotra, Furne One and Mona Fares. The organizers and marketing personnel too are not leaving any stone unturned to ensure that this years Dubai Fashion Week is bigger and better than any previously seen.

The DFW, as it is more popularly called, has a new owner this year. Manoj Bhojwani, the chairman of the Capital Marketing, the new owners, says that he looks forward to a very bright association with the DFW, an association which will not only make the fashion show more popular to fashionistas around the world, but will also better the existing relationship between designers and stakeholders. He is confident that the 2011 Dubai Fashion Week will attract buyers in the local, regional and international markets. Considering that the Middle East is slowly developing into one of the most popular fashion markets in the world, Manoj Bhojwani says that this comes as a more challenging role for their company.

The Dubai Fashion Week will see as many as 40 designers showcasing their clothesline this season, some of them newcomers in the fashion circuit.
