The renowned director Narayan recently threw a bash for the audio release of his home production'Dushta'. He made sure that he had every A-list celeb from the Kannada film fraternity at his party. The guest list included Ambareesh, Sumalatha Ambareesh, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Jayanthi, Vijayalakshmi Singh, Anirudh, AnuPrabhakar, director Bhargava, HemaChaudhary and others. "More than a colleague, he is my close friend. I chat with him regularly,"said Ambareesh, who wished Narayan and the film all success. A skit by Kirloskar Sathya and the team sent the audience into peals of laughter.

The various performances by the students of Chamaraja Dance Troupe were entertaining.  Pankaj and Surabhi, the leading stars of the film'Dushta' also performed on a popular track. Pankaj too performed on the songs of Puneeth Rajkumar, Upendra and Shivarajakumar.

On the eve of the audio release S Narayan, the director, producer, lyricist and music director of the film, declared that the movie has six songs and each song deals with a different subject. Apart from Pankaj, the rest of the cast comprises of newcomers. "It was a different experience as everyone is a fresher with no background in films. Even the singers are newcomers, hence you will feel freshness in all the songs,"assured Narayan.  

Shot in Bhadravathi and surrounding areas, the film is awaiting sanction from the Censor Board.
