(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Elle Macpherson’s music taste is “hardly trendy”, with Genesis one of her favourite bands.

The Australian model knows most people are surprised when they hear she is a fan of classic rock. She explained she rarely listens to modern groups, preferring to hear bands she first discovered when she was growing up.

“I’m hardly trendy where music’s concerned – a lot of the music I enjoy dates from yesteryear,” she explained. “I love classic Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger and 70s stuff in general, maybe even some Genesis.”

Elle can occasionally be found listening to much harder rock music, citing American group Pearl Jam as an inspiration. Part of the reason she likes the Seattle rockers is lead singer Eddie Vedder, who is Elle’s secret celebrity crush.

“I do have a crush, yes, on Eddie Vedder, the lead singer of Pearl Jam,” she laughed. “There’s just something about him.” (C) Cover Media
