Emma Bunton wants to enjoy her "wonderful engagement" as long as possible.
The former Spice Girl singer has been betrothed to her long-term boyfriend Jade Jones since January 2011.
Emma cherishes the moment when Jade asked her to marry him.
"We had such a wonderful engagement. Jade did it in the most perfect way," Emma told British newspaper the Mirror. "But it did take 13 years so we're obviously not people who like rushing things!"
Emma wants to wait to marry until her two sons with Jade, four-year-old Beau and eight-month-old Tate, get a little bit older.
"[T]here's no way we're rushing into getting married," Emma shared. "I think we'd probably like to have Tate and Beau as little page boys on the day, and Tate's only eight-months-old."
Emma has multiple professional commitments on the go at the moment. The star strives to create the right balance between her family obligations and business pursuits.
"I'm lucky because in my work I can take the boys with me, I can be at home most of the day and still get to work," Emma explained. "It's a question of juggling, like all parents do. Most mums have to go out to work, it's just about making sure you have that important time together, too."
