(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Enrique Iglesias admits pulling fans up on stage can be problematic, as sometimes he chooses crazy ones.
The Spanish heartthrob has hordes of female admirers, many of who flock to his concerts in the hope of getting to meet their idol. Enrique is renowned for inviting audience members to get up on stage with him, but admits he has often been left wondering if he should be more careful as occasionally the females are overzealous.
[I choose] girls... whoever wants to come up on stage. Thats the thing, you never know who youre going to get. Sometimes you get crazy people, he laughed. But I like being close to my fans. Sometimes they sing, sometimes I kiss them, sometimes we meet up afterwards...!
Enrique released his ninth album entitled Euphoria last year, and its the work he is most proud of. He tried out a new sound when he was recording, and has enjoyed seeing how much it has surprised people.
Its changing a little bit, its a little more eclectic than my last albums, he told a UK TV show. I was able to work with a bunch of artists like Usher and Akon. Its pretty diverse. This is my first album in English and Spanish. I always wanted to make this album but this is the first time I was able to do it. (C) Cover Media
