(Cover) - EN Star Style - Evan Rachel Wood says changing her hair and eyebrows for The Conspirator was eerie.

The 23-year-old American actress stars in the historical drama, which tells the story of a woman charged as a co-conspirator in the assassination trial of US President Abraham Lincoln.

Evan plays Anna Surratt the daughter of the accused woman - and admits she found having bushy dark eyebrows and slicked black hair strange.

Its part of the territory, she said. Playing a historical person, it helps. I didnt think I looked anything like the [character] until they put the eyebrows on me, and the hair. Its kind of eerie.

Evan wasnt a fan of the fresh faced aesthetic her character favoured, confessing she cant leave the house without mascara. The star imagines living in the nineteenth century must have been awful for women.
