(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Fergie and Will.i.am are hosting rival New Year's Eve parties.

The Black Eyed Peas bandmates will both be partying in Las Vegas on December 31 but at different events, reports New York Post.

While Will.i.am rings in 2012 at the club Surrender, Fergie will be celebrating at 1OAK.

Jesse Marco is set to DJ at 1OAK which is holding its grand opening on January 27 - while Will.i.am will be choosing the tunes at Surrender.

This will be the first time the music star has had turntable duties at a New Year's Eve bash and he can't wait to entertain the crowds.

"I don't like to look at this as a performance," Will.i.am said. "I like to look at this as a conversation making a beat and seeing how people react. I like to stay on my toes and see how it goes."

Fergie will be counting down to midnight by leading fellow revellers in a Champagne toast.

Will.i.am's event boasts a 90ft metallic snake wrapped around the bar area and VIP tables that are surrounded by sexy dancers.
