Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has been away from India for past seven months for his medical treatment for an undisclosed illness in the USA. 

While there were rumours of the actor being detected with Cancer and is undergoing treatment for the same, his family rubbished the rumours time and again. 

Recent one to confirm the same was filmmaker Rahul Rawail. The filmmaker revealed of the actor being cancer-free in his Facebook post. Sharing a picture of the actor, he wrote, "RISHI KAPOOR (CHINTU) is CANCER FREE." As soon as he posted Rishi's fans heaved a sigh of relief.

While Ranbir Kapoor keeps on shuttling between the States and India, his mother and actor's wife Neetu Kapoor is stationed there to be with her hubby. Family members and friends from the industry too visit the actor occasionally and share of his well-being with fans on their social media handles.
