September 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Wasna Ahmed was lastly seen in Zee TV's long forgotten show 'Shree' as the lead protagonist. After the closure of the show last year, the girl was on a long leave from work and was chilling in her leisure time. But now she is back again after a long period, to mark her presence on small screen.

It seems that while she was on hiatus, she started utilizing her time to learn dancing, and a few other skills that could be helpful for the girl, in her selected field of acting. Simultaneously, she was meeting up with a few people for a suitable role, and now it seems that she has gotten something in hand.

A source says, "After a period of 10 months, Wasna will be seen in Sony TV's 'CID' in a very different role than that of she had essayed previously in 'Shree'. She will essay the role of Kashish, who is a modern girl and gets married to a guy after which she will be seen in a typical Indian attire. The shoot for the show is on initial stages and will telecast sometime in the next month or with in few weeks."

We contacted Wasna, who confirmed the news, "Yes, I will be seen in C.I.D as Kashish. But I can't divulge any further information as from today onwards; I have started shooting for the show and will continue till 12th of this month as it is a cameo role."

Something is always better than nothing Wasna, keep it up!
