The poster has Kajol taking control of her son Riddhi Sen via a puppet handle and Sen is scared in the air with the craziest of expression. The film stars Kajol as a single mother who aspires to be a singer. The film also features Neha Dhupia who will be playing a pivotal role. 'Helicopter Eela' is an adaptation of Gujarati play Beta, Kaagdo and has been written by Mitesh Shah and Anand Gandhi (Ship of Theseus director). Swanand Kirkire has penned the lyrics whereas Amit Trivedi has composed the music.
