For already poor quality of Kannada films in the last weeks appearing on silver screen and disappearing very quickly this week add up five more films – Karthik, Gun, Aptha, Take it Easy and Saacha! 'Karthik' starring Karthik Shetty and Archana Gupta is an action packed love story by Yashodha Movie tone. Satish Shetty is the director of this film. There are two chilling action scenes in this film in the martial art form. No doubt Karthik Shetty who made debut in 'Yuva' two years ago and got noticed is the mainstay of the film. John Warki is the composer of songs and Manjunath is the cameraman. 'Aptha' starring Pooja Gandhi, Neeraj Sham, Pragna, Manasi, Bhavyakala, Sadhu Kokila is having shades of comedy and love plus the ragging issue is dealt in the movie by director Sanjeevkumar Megoti. Skar Mario has scored the music and PS Babu is the cameraman. 'Take it Easy' is releasing for the purpose of getting the subsidy given by the government of Karnataka was not in news at all. With a versatile actor like Ananthnag the director Padmanabha and producer Rehan Enterprises, the makers kept quiet without marketing the film.
