(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Freida Pinto almost quit acting to become a wedding planner.

The actress is best known for her portrayal of Latika in 2008s Slumdog Millionaire. She was praised for the part and has gone on to secure roles in several other releases, and sees the movie as the one which turned around her fortunes. Before winning the part Freida was about to give up on acting all together as she didnt think shed succeed.

I am able to choose my projects now, she explained. Before, I was struggling and almost gave up acting to become a wedding planner!

Freida who is dating her Slumdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel - loves weddings and thinks they should be the best day of a womans life. Although a ceremony of her own isnt on the cards just yet, she knows shell enjoy planning it when the time comes as arranging special events is one of her fortes.
