Game: Dr. Dre narrates my album

4th August 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Game regards his new album to be like a "movie" and credits Dr. Dre as its narrator.

The 31-year-old rapper is incredibly excited about his upcoming release The R.E.D. Album. According to Game, the album is lyrical cinematography, a motion picture in sound.

"The album is real theatrical; it's a movie," Game told MTV News. "And it's narrated by Dr. Dre the entire album."

Superstar rapper and producer Dr. Dre initially signed Game to Dre's Aftermath label. Dr. Dre also oversaw Game's The Documentary debut.

Unfortunately the pair had a temporary fall-out when Game and 50 Cent, also signed to Dre's Aftermath label, publically shared resentments. Dr. Dre contributed no vocals or production to Game's subsequent albums after this feud.

Dr. Dre and Game have since reconciled. Dr. Dre has taken a more active role in Game's career and has contributed an exponential amount of his musical artistry to The R.E.D. Album. Reminiscent of the good old days, Game has unlimited fervour for the creative collaboration he and Dr. Dre produced on The R.E.D. album.

"It's a real quick story about a day in the hood," Game explained about his favourite single off the album, Good, Bad, Ugly. "I'm telling a story to police, but as we do growing up in the hood trying to get ourselves out of trouble, once we're apprehended, we make up a couple of different stories. At the end, after we done been in there for damn near a whole day being interrogated, the truth comes out."

The R.E.D. Album is set to be released on August 23. (C) Cover Media
