Garth and Facinelli deny cheating reports

15th March 2012

Jennie Garth and her estranged husband Peter Facinelli have called cheating rumours about their marriage "hurtful".

The couple announced this week that they are ending their relationship after 11 years of marriage.

Immediately there was a flurry of reports that the Twilight actor had been unfaithful to the Beverly Hills 90210 star, with whom he has three children.

But the estranged pair set the record straight yesterday by issuing a statement to People magazine denying that their marriage broke down due to cheating.

"There are rumours out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family," the statement said.

"We just want to make it very clear there are no third parties involved."

Jennie, 39, and Peter, 38, had earlier said that they "have decided to end our marriage" but "both share the same deep love and devotion to our children."

The couple met on the set of TV movie An Unfinished Affair in 1996 and tied the knot in 2001. They have three daughters; Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and Fiona, five.
