(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Gavin Rossdale wears earplugs in nightclubs because he cant stand loud noise.

The 45-year-old British singer fronts the band Bush, who announced they are reuniting for a tour in June. Despite loving performing with the group, years of playing in noisy venues have taken their toll on the star.

After playing with Bush at the MGM Theatre in Connecticut on Saturday Gavin retired to nightspot Shrine, where he asked for additional help to block out the noise.

"He immediately requested earplugs, a source told the New York Post. Then he left saying the music was just too loud for him. Kind of funny to hear from a rock star."

The silky-voiced frontman celebrated his 45th birthday on Saturday, making his show even more special.

The square-jawed hunk is overjoyed to be touring again with his band, who have produced hits such as Glycerine and Everything, and said it is where he feels he belongs. "To be in Bush, you're basically born to be in... it's like a suit of armour," he said recently. (C) Cover Media
