Giuliana Rancic says her life is "complete" now she has a baby.

The E! News host and her husband Bill welcomed their son Edward Duke into the world at the end of August.

The new mother showed off her bundle of joy for the first time at a photoshoot held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago.

"I had always heard that when you have a baby it completes your life - and it's true," Giuliana told Life & Style. "I love my baby, and I love my new role."

Edward was born via a surrogate after Giuliana and Bill had trouble conceiving naturally. The new parents say the challenges they faced in the past have all been worth it now they have their son.

"I couldn't believe that all those years of struggling and the tears actually paid off," Giuliana admitted. "Every shot, every doctor's visit - in the end, when you're holding your baby in your arms, you forget it all, and it's worth it."

Bill gushed about his wife's maternal skills and how proud he is of her. The 41-year-old is embracing fatherhood and finds every aspect of it fascinating.

"Every day he's changing - it's just remarkable to see, he's got Giuliana's dimples!" Bill gushed.

"It's amazing how maternal instincts have taken over, and Giuliana's just supermom, it literally brought tears to my eyes the other day watching her with Duke."
