(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Giuliana Rancic has returned to work after announcing last week she is suffering from breast cancer.

The 37-year-old E! News host underwent a double lumpectomy five days ago but she bravely returned to work today.

She thanked everyone for their support since her diagnosis, but said she was happy to get back to the job she loves.

"I'm so thrilled to get back to work and return to my E! family today," she told E! News. "I still have a long road ahead, but thanks to everyone's overwhelming love, support and prayers, it will be an easier journey.

Giuliana is expected to begin her radiation treatment in about a month's time "after she heals and has her strength back," her husband Bill said after her surgery.

"She pulled through it and was kind of relieved to get it over with and get the cancer out and is doing well. She's a fighter and will come back stronger and better than before."

Giuliana also had some lymph nodes removed for biopsy. She will resume her hosting duties on E! News tonight. (C) Cover Media
